I'm a high school science teacher (Chem, Earth, credentialed in Bio, but not teaching it). I did research in academia before becoming a teacher, but I've always been a science nerd
There are the requisite photos of me on Christmas morning opening a microscope kit when I was 10 or so.
So, what form does your science nerdiness take?
Koodos
i have my study organism all over my house in the form of pics, ceramics, candles, etc...luckily my significant other/housemate does not have an aversion to fungi
1No matter where I go, I'm always looking at the cool science things. Looking at rocks, finding shells, no matter where I am, or what I'm doing, or who I'm with (luckily most of my friends are also science nerds) I'm always "doing" or thinking science. I'm also thinking teaching, and how I could use that for teaching, but that's standard for teachers . . .
